dated the 20th. day of September 1754 under the hands of Robert

Reading the humble Petr. of Robert Bolton< no role > of the Parish of St.
John Wapping in the County of Middx Sailmaker (which was
referr'd to them by the Court the 14th of June last) SettingforthThat
he proposes to take a Lease (with Usual Covenants between the
Governors & their Tenants) of a Wharfe at Execution Dock and
another Wharfe & Warehouse a little beyond it on the Southside of
Wapping street and 7 Messuages Several Small Shed And Yards on the
North side of Wapping street (part of the Possions of Bridewell Hospll.)
and being all the Premes Comprized in a Lease from the Governors
to James Isaccson< no role > Esq which Expired at Midsumer last 1754. OS
(Great part whereof the Petr. & his Partner have held by an
Underlease for 27th. years) And Abutting West upon Brewers Lane laid
East upon a House and Several yards hold under a Lease from the
Governors to Mary Barham< no role > to Comence from Midsumer last O.S for
9 years & ¾ of a year at £80 P Ann rent clear of Taxes And to
layout £200 in Necessary Repairs And Execute a Counterpart of
such LeaseAnd praying a Lease AccordinglyThis Comittee
having Considered the same are of Opinion to Accept the sd. Proposal
And the sd. Robert Bolton being called in & Acquainted therewith
Agreed thereto And gave Three pounds Twelve shillings to the
Poor box All which is Nevertheless Submitted to the Judgment of
the CourtThis Court having duly weighed and Considered the sd
Report doth Confirm the same And Order that a Lease be made
to the said Robert Bolton Accordingly.

Upon Reading the humble Petition of Thomas Piggot< no role > Glover
Setting forth That he Served his Apprenticeship to Saml Geldart< no role >
by Indre dated the 2d. of May 1747 And by Oder of Court 14th June 1754
was made free of this City and is set up for himself at Mr Furners
Gold pollisher in George street St Martin le Grand And praying some
part of Mr. Fowkes Gift Mr Saml Bridgman< no role > Mr. Deputy Martindale
& Mr Wm. Seawell< no role > or any two of them are desired to enquire whether
he be set up in his sd. Trade And of his hopefullness therein and to
Report to the Court
