John Chandler< no role > of the Parish of All hallows London Wall London
Ship wright Setting forthThat the Govr. by Lease dated the 8th. of
August 1709 Demised to John Allen< no role > (the Petr. Snow's former Husband)
four Houses & Ground in Wapping To hold from Laday 1709 for
55 Years wch will Expire at Laday 1764 at £15 P Ann rent
That sd. John Allen dyed Intestate and the Petr. Snow has
Obtained Letters of Administration of his Goods and Chattles whereby
she is Intilled to the sd. Lease & premes and she has Agreed to make
an Assignment thereof to the Petr. Chandler who is willing to Accept
the sameAnd praying the Governors will be pleased to Grant
Lycome to the Petr. Snow to Assign sd. Lease & premes to the Petr. Chandler
for the residue of the sd. Term now to come thereinThis Court
haveing duely weighed & Considered the same Doth Order that the
Petr. Snow have the Lyceme of this Court to Assign the sd. Lease &
Premes to the Petr. Chandler as pray'd.

Upon Reading the humble Petr. of the four Beadles & Porterman of
this Hospital for their Usual Gratuities of Forty Shillings apeice for
the half year Ending at Xmass last for their Salarys are but Small It
is Ordered that the Clerke of these Hospitals do give and pay unto them
Forty Shillings apeice to be allowed him in this next Account.

Upon Reading the humble petition of the three Beadles or Basketmen
of the Hospl of Bethlem for their Usual Gratuites for Twenty Shillings
a peice for the half year ending at Xmas last for their Salarys are but
Small It is Ordered that the Clerk of these Hospital Do give & payments
them Twenty Shillings a peice to be Allowed him in his next Account.

New Lease Wapp No. 22) refd


Upon Reading the humble Petition of Ann Arbuthnot< no role > Spinster Setting forth
That by Lease (No.22) dated 9th Febry 1676 The Governors Demised to John
Merrihurst
< no role > two Messes & a Wharf. on the South side of Wapping Street To hold
from Xmas 1715 for 40 Years at 14s. PAnn rent which will Expire at
Xmas 1755.O.S.& by Mesne Assignment is became Vested in the Petitioner
That the Petr. is desirous of taking a New Lease of the sd. 2 Messes &
Wharfe for Twenty one Years after the Expiration of the Old Lease & throughly
to repair the sd. 2 Messes & rebuild the Wharfe & a Wharfagehouse thereon with
Brick instead of Wood as at present paying the said reserved rent of 14s. during
the sd. 21 Years and the Sum of £100 FiveIt is Ordered that the sd.
Petition he referred to the Comittee of this House to Consider these of & Report
their Opinion thereon to the next Court.
