London Esq to be one of the Governors of these Hospitals
and Order that a Staff be forth with sent to him Notwithstanding
the Order of Court the 29th. of April 1748

This Court doth Elect Robert Scott< no role > of Monument Yard London
Esqr . to be one of the Governors of these Hospitals and Order
that a Staff be forthwith sent to him Notwithstanding the
Order of Court the 29th of April 1748

At this Court John Jacob< no role > was Ordered to be made free of this
City haveing Served his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to Mr.
John Phillips< no role > late one of the Artsmasters in this Hospital
by Indre dated 18th. of August 1729.

Feilder Wm. to have £10
Locks Gift


Mr Roger Altham< no role > and Mr William Giles< no role > two of the Governors Reported
that in Pursuance of an Order of Court 24 July 1751 they had made enquiry
& found that William Feilder< no role > Weaver who Served his Apprenticeship in
this Hospital (to Mr. Thomas Keil< no role > ) is set up for himself in his sd. Trade
& has the Character of a Diligent & Sober ManIt is Ordered That
the Steward do pay to the sd. William Feilder Ten pounds of Mr.
Locks Gift to be Allowed him in his next Account.

Horne Jno to have £10
Locks Gift


Mr. Deputy Ballard and Mr John Underwood< no role > two of the
Govrs. Reported that in Pursuance of an Order of Court 24 July 1751
they had made enquiry & found that John Horne< no role > Glover who Served
his Apprenticeship in this Hospital (to Mr Samuel Geldart< no role > ) is set
up for himself in his said Trade and has the Character of a Diligent
and Sober ManIt is Ordered That the Steward do pay to the
said John Horne Ten pounds of Mr Locks Gift to be Allowed him
in his next Account.
