Upon Reading a Report from the Comittee of this House dated the 27th.
day of June test SettingforthThat in Pursuance of an order of Court of the 23th
of September last This Comee drawing considered of the several Gentleman following who were
nominated to be Governors of these Hospitals If is the Opinion of this Comittee that they
are very proper persons to be Governors if the Court shall think fit Vizt.

Wlaik nevertheless is submitted to the Judgment of the Court
This Court doth elect the said Gentleman to be Governors of those
HospitalsAnd it is Ordered that Staves be sent to them
accordingly

Upon Reading the Minutes of the Committee for now building for Insurables
at Bethlem Hospital of the third Instant as follows Vizt.Mr. Treasurer
acquainting the Comittee that there is already about £2000 were due from the Hospital
on account of the side Building than has been given for that purpose This Comee are of
opinion that towards carrying and finishing the intended Building for Incurables a Same
not exceeding £5,000. principal money be borrowd by the Governors of this Hospital on
Bonds under their Comon Seal at Interest not exceeding the rate of £4. P Cents P Ann
And it is orderd That this Opinion the reported to the next CourtThis
Court doth Order that the same be recomitted to the Consideration of a Comittee
of all the Governors who are to meet at the Hospital of Bethlem next Friday at 8. of
the Clock in the morning, And to report their Opinion therein to the next Court And
it is further Order'd That it be mentiond in the Ticketts that the said meeting is
concerning the Hospital for Incurables.

Upon readomg the humble Petition of James Lipscome< no role > Weaver one of the
Artsmasters of this Hospital Setting forthThat he having served his apprenticesp .
in this Hospital was about 2. Years ago elected Artsmaster in the room of Thomas
Serjeant
< no role > deceased and that the House in which he was resides being very Small and
inconvenient to him as his business increased and having 3. Apprentices and being writing
to take more if he had a proper apartment and Mr. Phillip Gill< no role > one of the Artsmasters of
the said Hospital intending (as he was informed) to resign his said place prayed that he might
leave the said Mr. Gills apartment instead of the house wherein he now livesIf
is Ordered that the said Petition be rejected.

Mr. Treasurer Taylor acquainted this Court that the Securitys for Mr. Oliver
Acton
< no role > Steward of this Hospital being both dead he had proposedMr. John Hooke< no role > of the parish
of St. Dunstans in the West London Bookseller and Mr. Samuel Clarke< no role > of the Same parish
Baker To be his Security and that the Comittee of this House of the 27th.of June last had
approvd of the said Security if this Court Should think fit It is Ordered that the sd.
Security be accepted.
