This Court Copys of two Clauses taken out of the Will of
Elizabeth Palmer< no role >

deced
dated the 4th. of August 1726In One of which Clauses She Charge All her
Messuage and Tenements in Took Court in the parish of St. Andrew Holborn
with the
Payment of £1000. at the end of One Year after her death for the Use of Bridewell
Hospital to be laid out in Lands Tenements and Hereditaments for the benefit of the
said Hospital as the President
and Governors thereof and her Executors should think fitt
and the Rents and Profits of such purchase when made, and the Interest and Produce in
the mean time to be paid and Applyed as follows Vizt:£20. a Year for
Physick & Nurses for such of the Boys as shall be Sick, And the Residue for Setting
them up in their Trades after they have faithfully Served their Apprenticeship, So as
no One have above £10. for that PurposeThe Other Clause is to pay for the
Use of the Hospital of Bethlem £2000. to be laid out and Disposed of for the benefit
of the Sick and Incurable of the said Hospital or otherwise as to her Executors and the
President
and, Governors shall Seem most Needfull and Convenient.
