late President of these Hospitals deced Acquainted this Court that his said late father
in his last Sickness recomended to him if The thought fitt to give Two hundred
Pounds for the use of the Hospital then Building for Incurable Lunaticks Adjoining
to the Hospital of Bethlem And that he was ready to pay the same Altho' no [..]
is made of it in his Fathers Will And he did accordingly pay £200 to Mr. Treasurer
Tayler to be Applyed for the purpose aforesaidWhereupon It was
Order'd that the thanks of the Court be given to the said Sr. Samuel Garrard< no role >
which was done accordingly.

Upon Reading the humble Petition of Henry Perrott< no role > Esqr Settingforth
That he holds the Rectory of Northleigh in Oxfordshire at the Yearly rent of £20 had
the Quitt rent of 17s..6d to the Crown under a Lease from the Governors of Bridewell
Hospital dated the 24th. June 1698 for 31 Years from Michaelmas then last which well
Expire at Michas 1728. And for which Lease a Fine of £1000. was paidAnd
Praying that the Governors will Grants him a New Lease for 31 Years at the same
Rent & Covenants for which he is Willing to pay the like FineIt is Ordered
that it be Referred to the Comittee of This House to Consider of the said Petition and
to Report their Opinion to This Court.

of Christopher Smith< no role > deced Setting forthThat her said late Husband (as Administrator of
Mrs. Frances Bennett< no role > deced who was the Widow & Executrix of William Bennett< no role > deceased )
became Entitled to a Lease made by the Governors to the said Wm: Bennett< no role > of the Goat
Tavern at Charing Cross & that the Petr. is now become Intitled thereto as Executrix to her
said late Husband & the same Expires the 21st. July 1728That she is willing to put the
Premisses into good repair wch. will last near £200And Praying that the Governors
will Grant her a New Lease of the said Tenement to Comence from the 21st. July 1721
for such Term of Years as to them shall seem meetIt is Order'd that it be
Referred to the Comittee of This House to Consider of the said Petition & to Report
their Opinion to This Court.
