Upon Reading the humble Petition of John Sampson< no role > Settingforth That
he Served his apprenticeship to Gabriel Bedman< no role > Weaver one of the Artsmasters
of This Hospital by Indenture dated the 2d day of Novr 1716. & by an order of
this Court of the 24th. of July 1724 he was on the 3d. day of May last mads
free of this City And is Set up for himself in his said Tradeat Mr Treasurer
over agt the Green Dragon on Saffron hills And Mr Treasurer Reporting
to this Court that this Committes of this House on the 4th. of August last Inspected
the Book Kept of the apprentices behaviour & found no Complaint agt. him
It is Order'd that Robert Gay< no role > Esqr Captain John cherry< no role > & Mr
Fras Moult< no role > three of the Governors of these Hospitals or any five of them be desired
to Enquire whether the said John Samuel< no role > be Set up in his said Trade and of his
hopefulness there in and to make their Report to the next Court.

Upon Reading the humble petition of Lawrence Ambrose< no role > settingforth That
he served his apprenticeship to James Walde< no role > Hempdresser one of the artmasters of this
Hospital by Indenture dated the 1st of Novr. 1717. by an order of this Court of the 18
December last was on the 18th of Janry. following made free of this City and as set
up for himself in his said TradeIn Glass house yard in aldgergate street
And Mr Treasurer Reporting to this Court that the Committee of this House on the
16th. of March last Inspected the Books kept of the apprentices behaviour & found
no Complaint agt. himIt is Order'd that col Samuel Robinson< no role >
Thos. Ass [..] emb Esqr . Mr Saml Ballard< no role > three of the Governors of these Hospitals or any
two of them be Desired to Enquire whether the said Lawrence Ambrose< no role > be Set up on his
said Trade & of his hopefulness therein & to make their Report to the Next Court.
