applyd to the sd Mr. Roger Hudson< no role >

Executors for paymt. of the sd Legacy the sd sr
. Roger told him that the greatest
part of the sd Testators personal Estate consisted in Annuitys wth were
subscribed into the South Sea Company and Satisfied by Stock and Bonds
of the sd Company persuant to the Act of Parliamt. in that behalf which
had occasiond great Loss in the sd Estate and that the Executors had no mony
in their hands to satisfye the sd Legacy but were willing to pay it wth
Interest (from the time it became due) in the sd Companys Bonds at paras
he had done to Christs Hospital
St. Bartholomews Hospital
and ye Corporation
for the Benefitt of Clegymens Widdows to whom the said Testator had by
his said Will given £1000. Eachwhich Bonds are now at about forty
Shillings DiscountAnd Mr. Trear desired the Direction of the Court
therein Whereupon It is Orderd that Mr. Treasurer do accept the
said Legacy with Interest as aforesaid in South Sea Bonds at Par
and on receipt thereof give & Discharge to the Executors infull of the
said Legacy.
