Upon reading a Report from the Comee of this house bearing
date the 27th day of Octor Last in the Words following Vizt
This Comee Persuant to an Order of Court the 27th day
of July takeing into Consideration the behaviour of the artsmars.
find that an Order of Court was made the 24th. day of July 1707
That all the artsmars. of this Hospital and their Apprentices should
meet in the School room every Sunday morning & afternoon before
the time of Divine service and that one of the Beadles Should
attend there and see that the Masters follow their apprentices from
thence into ye Chappel before the Service begins and that the Beadle
should every Monday morning wait upon the president withan
an account of the names of the Defalters & of such as did not behave
themselves decedly & Devontly at ye Chappel which Order has not been
persued by reason of Some difficulties in the putting it in practice
But This Comee are of Opinion That for the future every artsmar, in
this hospital should be obliged to follow his apprentices to the Chappel
and see 'em all in their places every Sunday before tha Divine Service
begins and that one of the Beadles should Stand at the Door of the
Chappel with a List of the artsmar. names & the number of each
mans apprentices & Mark how many ate absent & Lay an account
thereof every Mouth before the Comee of the House who May make
such order therein as they shall think proper and in Extraordinary Cases
to Report to ye CourtThat Crackenthorp never comes to Chappel
and several of the rest are remiss in that part of their Duty.

delivered to every artsmar .

This Court dothOrder that for the Future every
artsmar. in this Hospital Shall be obliged to follow his apprentices to
the Chappel and see 'em all in their places every Sunday before the
Divine Service begins and that one of the Beadles do Stand at the
door of ye Chappel with a List of the artsmars. names & the number
of each mans apprentices & mark how many are absent and lay an
account thereof every Months before ye Comee of this House who was
make Such Order therein as they shall think proper and in extraordinary
Cases to Report to the Court
