Upon reading the humble Petition of
John Fells< no role >
Setting
forth that the Lease formerly granted by the Governours to
William
Wood< no role >
of Severall parcells of ground and Several Tenements
lyeing near Execution Dock
in Wapping
will expire at Lady day
next and proposeing to Lay out One thousand pounds in new
building Tow Tenements and Warehouse of the Second rate
of building (according to Act of Parliamt) on that part of the
premisses which lyeth between Wapping Street
and the River of
Thames
now used by Mr. Hook as a mast yard and to pay Two hundred
pounds for a fyne and Twenty Shillings & Annum Rent or fifteen
pounds & Annum Rent without assyneAnd praying a
Lease of Sixty two foot of the said Mast Yard in Length from
East to West & in breadth from Wapping Street
to the River of Thames
for
Sixty One years under Such Covents as are usual to the other Tents. of this
hospital It is Ordered that it be Referred to the Comee of this
house to consider of the said Proposal and to treat wth. the Petr.
and Report to their Court their Opinion what is proper to be
done therein

to these hospitals do Serve the medicines which Shall be
ordered for the use of these hospitals until Lady day next
And that the person who Shall be elected Apothecary in the
room of the said Mr. Adams Shall not Comence Apothecary
to these hospitals untill that time
