Then this Court according to the Ordr. of the last Court
proceeded to the Eleccon of a President of these Hospitals in the
roome of the Right worshippful Sr. Thomas Rawlinson< no role > Knt . &
Alderman deced and desired the Right Honrble Sr. Charles
Duncomb
< no role > Knt . Lord Mayor to be putt in Nominacon Whereupon
his Lordpp acquainted the Court that his indisposicon would not
Pmitt him to Attend the Service of the Hospitals President
and therefore desired to be Excused but assured'em that upon all
occasions he would be ready to Serve them to the Utmost of
his power For which the whole Court returned him thankes

And then all the Aldermen about the Chair except the
Presidents of the other Hospitals and the Workehouse were
Severally putt in Nominacon And the Right Worshippful Sr
William Wythers< no role > Knt & Alderman was unanimously Elected

And this Court doth accordingly Declare him President of these
Hospitals untill the next Eleccon day and doth desire Mr. Treasurer
Gardiner Mr Deputy Phillipps Mr Deputy Tourney Mr. Deputy
Taylor Mr Deputy Parrott John Ladds< no role > Esqr . Thomas Rawlinson< no role >
Esqr . Major Hulls, Mr. Grubb, Mr Tudman, Mr. Amy Mr. Woolfreys
and Mr. Rouce or any three of them to wait upon Sr Wm. Withers
and acquaint him that this Court hath Unanimously Elected
him President of these Hospitals in the roome of Sr. Thomas
Rawlinson
