for himselfe in his said Trade in the house of Mr. Godfrey neare
Castle street in the Parish of White Chapple (as hee alleadgeth)
for some part of Mr. Locks and Mr. Fowkes guift the better to
enable him to carry on his said Trade of a Weaver It is Ordered by this
Court That Mr. Lawrence Capt Silk Mr. Shenton Mr. Cornock or
any two of them bee desired to make enquiry of the said James
Murray
< no role > whether hee bee Sett upp for himselfe in his said Trade &
of his hopefullnesse therein and to make report thereof to this
Court.

Beadles gratuity


Alsoe Upon the humble Peticon of the four Beadles and
Porters man of the hospitall of Bridewell for their usuall
gratuityes of 40s. peice in respect of the halfe yeare Ending att
Michas last as hath been usually given them for that their Salling
are Small and they have all Familyes to maintaine It is Ordered
by this Court That Mr. Trear doe give and Pay unto them 40s. a
peice as usuall to bee allowed him in his next account.

Baskett men do


Alsoe Upon the humble Peticon of the three Beadles or
Baskettmen of the Hospitall of Bethlem for their usuall Gratuityes
of 20s. a peice usually given them by this Court in respect of the
halfe yeare ending att Michas lastand alsoe forIt is Ordered by
this Court that Mr. Trear doe give and pay unto them 20s. a P [..]
to bee allowed and paid unto them and allowed Mr. Trear in his next
account.

Mr Gilberts Pet referred
to Comittee}


Alsoe Upon the humble Peticon Mr. Richard Gilbert< no role > of
the parish of Enfield in the County of Middx gent Setting forth
That he haveing a Lease of three houses in Bishoppsgate street
Which Lease is expired within two yeares And two of the said
houses being verry ruinouse and Decayd insoe much That yor Peticonr.
must bee forced to rebuild the front thereof which by Compution
will cost above five hundred Pounds Therefore Pray'd that hee
may have a further Terme of Years added to his said Lease Whereupon
It is hereby referr'd to Mr. Royd house Mr. Warberton Mr. Lawrence
Mr. F Smith Mr. Furnis Mr. Huntsman Mr. Hanno Mr. Dancer
Mr. Norman Mr. Shelton or any three of them to view the said
Prmisses and report their Opinion therein to this Court.

Shirt Inquirey of Artsmasters


Alsoe it is Ordered by this Court that for the future great care bee
taken and enquiry made of Artmasters to bee Substantiall man when
when chosen in to these Hospitalls.

Alsoe it is Ordered that William Eyres< no role > and William Paunell< no role > bee
putt apprence to some of the Artsmasters of this Hospitall.
