Also upon the humble Petition of Robt. Staples< no role > who was brought up
apprentice wth Francis Brown< no role > weaver late an Artsmar . in
Bridewell hosptl. since made a Freeman of this Citty by the
approbacon of this Court and who is sett up for himselfe in his Trade
of a Weaver (as he Alleadgeth) at the [..] Crooked Billett in
Skynner Street without Bishopsgate For same part of Mr. Lock
gift the bettr. to Enable him to carry on his sd. Trade It is Ordered
by this Court That the said Mr. Depty. Coles Coll Sharp Mr. Smith Mr.
Anbry & Mr. Slaughter or any two of them be Desired to make
Enquiry of the Sd. Robt. Staples whether he be soe Settup in his sd.
Trade & of his hopefullness therein and to make Report thereof
to the next Court

Also upon the humble Petition of Joseph Linney< no role > who was brought
up Apprentice wth. Wm. Brown< no role > weaver late an Artsmar in
Bridewell Hosptl. & since made a Freeman of this Citty by the
approbacon of this Court and who is Sett up for himselfe in his
Trade of a Weaver (as he allendgeth) at the house of Mr. Walls in
Brownes Laughine Spittle Fields For some part of Mr. Locks
gift the bettr. to Enable him to carry on his sd. Trade It is Ordred.
by this Court That the sd. Mr. Depty. Coles Coll Sharpe Mr. Smith Mr. Anbry
& Mr. Slaughter or any 2 of them be Desired to make Enquire
of the Sd. Joseph Linney< no role > and of his hopefullness therein and
to make Report thereof to the next Court

Also This Court being accquainted That a Well in the Inner Yard in
Bridewell Hosptl. is broken in and must be repaired to prevent
Danger And that it is the desire of severall of the Inhabitants
of the sd. Hosp That a Pump may be Erected in the said Inner
Yard Itt is Referred to the Comittee of the said Hosptl. or any these
of them To Consider thereof and to Report their opinion thereinto
this Court.

Also John Glover< no role > and Wm.Elsley< no role > being proposed to be Chapplewarden
for the Hosptl. of Bridewell & Precinct thereof for the Yeare Ensueing
This Court are of Opinion the said Wm. Elsley< no role > is not a proper person
to performe the sd. Office And doe Order That the Inhabitants Shall
make a New Election

Also at this Court the severall poor boys hereafter named were
ordred to be putt apprentices vizt.
