A Motion being made unto this Court That Thomas Ashburner< no role >
Who has been for above two Years last Employed as a Servent under Jeremy Mount< no role >
(late Clerk of these Hospll Deced) in the Affaires and Business thereof may be
Recomeded by this Court to Serve Such person as shall be Elected & Clerk of the
sd Hospll. in the like Station And this Court Receiveing a very good Account of
the Faithfullness and Diligence of the said Thomas Ashburner< no role > not only in the
life time of the sd. Mr. Mount but since his Death Doe Think fitt and see Order
That the Sd. Thomas Ashburner< no role > shall be Recomended by this Court to such person
as Shall be Elected Clerk [..] as aforesd. as a proper person to be
Employed under him in the Affaires of these Hospll And That Such Clerk when
Chosen Shall be accquainted That It is the Desire of this Court That he shall
accept of the Sd Thomas Ashburner< no role > accordingly.

And they being all putt into Nomination for out of them to be Elected
thereunto Itt Appeared Planely after Severall Reductions That She
Plurality of Hands were for the Sd. Benj. Timme & Samson Shelton
Broughton who being again putt into Nomination for one of them to be
Elected thereunto The Rt. Worspll. Sr. Robt. Geffery< no role > Knt. & Account Presidt .
of the said Hosplls. was pleased to Declare That is his opinion the plurality
of Hands were for the sd. Benj. Timme where upon a Poll being
Demanded between the Sd. Benj. Trimme & Samson Shelton Brought
The Same was Grantee And it was Desired That such of the Governr has
were for the Sd. Samson Shelton Broughton Should withdraw into the
Dining roome And such Governrs. were for the Sd. Benjn. Timme Should
continue in the Court Roome of this Hospl: Which being done Tellers
were appointed vizt. Sr. Barth. Shower and Mr. Depty: Gardiner who
having taken an Account of the severall Numbers and being Returned Did
Declare in the Prsence. of this Court That the Number of the Governrs.
who withdrew into the Dinning Roome was 100: and the Number of those
who Continued in the Court Roome was 113: Whereupon Itt is Ordered
by this Court That the Said Benjn. Timme be Admitted to be Clerk of these
Hosplls. for the Space of one whole Yeare now next Ensuing And this Court
doth Admitt him accordingly And Order That he shall from Lady day next
have Receive and Enjoy the Fees Sallary & Profitts thereto belonging
as the Sd. Mr. Mount had and Enjoyed the SameAnd also the Roomes &
Chambers where in the sd. Mr. Mountt lived from and after Michas day next
