Upon the humble Peticon of Joseph Autrim< no role > of White crosse Street
For Some mitigacon of the weekly paymt. of Five Shillings for the
Keeping of Daniell Bill< no role > (a patient in Bethlem hospll) where he has
been maintained by Daniell Bull< no role > Clerk his Father neare Nine month
who dying about Xpmas last in a very poore condicon & leaveing
nothing towards his sons Maintenance the peticonr. hath since
his Death bore the said Charge But being noe wayes related to
him or otherwise obliged then in charity to his miserable & abandon
Condicon is unwilling any longer to continue the same Where upon
Itt is Ordered That Security being given to pay Two Shillings &
Six pence a week for the Keeping the said Samll. Bull< no role > for the future
That then the Same Shall be reced and the Bond for paymt. of Five
shillings a week be delivered up to be Cancelled

Also Upon Reading to this Court the Report of Coll. John Sharpe< no role >
and Mr Awbrey (two of the Governors of these Hosplls) That upon
Enquiry they doe find That Joseph Hodgson< no role > Citizen and Weaver
of London who Served his Apprenticespp wth. Francis Browne< no role > weaver
out of the Artsmasters of the Hospll. of Bridewell and Succe made
a Freeman of this Citty by the approbacon of this Court Is Sett
up for himselfe in the Trade of a weaver and hath a good roome
wth: a broad Silk Loome and a Bed therein wch: are both his acone & that he
hath the Character of a hopefull youngman in the Neighbourhood
Itt is Ordered by this Court That Mr Trear doe give and pay
unto him tence pounds of the profitts of Mr Locks gift to be a flowed
Mr. Trear in his next Account

Itt is Ordered by this Court That Mr. Depty. Moore and Mr. Wheele
(two of the Governs. of these hospll) be desired to Enquire into the
value of the Said James Purser< no role > & to make Report thereof to the next Cot

Also Upon the humble Petition of William Smith< no role > Hempdresser one
of the Artsmars. of the hospll. of Bridewell praying for the reasons
therein contained to be Discharged of his Duty of Setting the wodmen
prisonr. to worke & looking after them in the workshop This Court doth
think fitt to adjourne the Consideracon of the said Petition to the next
Court And that Wm. Burton< no role > Hempdresser and alsoe one of the
Artsmrs. of the sd. Hospll. have notice to attend ye Same Court

Also the Right worppll. the Presidt. accquainted this Court wth. the
death of Richd. Swyby< no role > Glover [..] late one of the Artsmars of the sd
Hospll. Whereupon this Court Declared That in reasonable and
due time (wth. respect to the 3 Months his wid is to Enjoy the house)
This Court will appoint a time for the Elleccon of an Artsmar. in the
Roome of the Said deced.
