That Securitye is given on the admission of the Patients into the Hospll.
For the finding them Clotho; Not withstanding wth. and she came that has
been taken by the Officers in applying to the Securitye for Cloths from time
to time Especiallyby the Officersagainst the Winter Season the Patients
have suffered very much for want thereof and the Hospll been put to considerable
Extraordinary charge in Phisick and Surgerye And the Honor: and Reputacon
of it much exposed to Strangers and other by means of the Nakednesse and
Suffrings of the Patients on That accounts the Observacon of this desert
moved some Charitable persons about Three Years agoe to give Gifts and
Legaries toward the Clothing the poor Lunaticks and some Gentlemen of
they Government to Augment the same and to gett a Wardrobe Established
Since which the particular Charity to the Wardrobe had been Augmented
to near Three Hundred pounds but for want of Order for the Tuneing out of
the Cloths The Wardrobe is indeed increased, but the Charitye Carryed noe
Further then before nor the Honor. of the Hospll Asserted in this particular
And considering the provicon. allready in the Wardrobe And that divers
persons doe and will finde their Lunaticks Cloths, And that many Patients
are discharged before the Cloths They bring in are roome out And what may
be saved in Phisick And considering also the general disposicon to
Charitye on this a court This Committee are of Opinion That in case
this Court shall Think fitt to supplye with necessarye and convenient
Cloths such of the Patients who shall from time to time want the
same and shall not be otherwise provided for It will be but a very small
Yearly charge for the doeing thereof This they therefore propose to this
Court And that a Committee may be apppointed to inspect and Settle the
Stewards account concerning the Wardrobe for the time past And to
put the same into such a Method That the usuall Monethy
Comittees may take account of what Cloths are brought into the sd
Wardrobe and Signe to the same and may alsoe from time to time give
orders for the Issueing out the same in such manner as they shall
think convenient This Court Weigheing and considering the matter
of the same proposall Doe approve thereof And order the same accordingly
And doe and to the said Comittee Mr Rous Mr Sheppard Mr Shaller Andrew

Alsoe att this Court Mr Depty: Fazakerlye presented Sixteen Ticketts
in the Million adventure being a Guift of a person unknown
and desired to be applyed to the Charity of Bethlem Hospll as the said
Mr Fazakerly Shall direct who desires the same may goe towards the said
Wardrobe which is ordered accordinglye And the thanks of this Court
areishere given to Mr Depty. Fazakerley for the same
