several Enquiries at and near Northfleet
aforesaid after
and concerning the said Persons Particularly at the Sign
of the Leathern Bottle at Northfleet
kept by one

of the said Mr. Thurlocks at the said
House That soon after the said Assault on His Majestys
Officers had been Committed and on the same day which
was near Northfleet
aforesaid two persons came to the
said House who said they had seen the Transaction (of

that one of the said Persons said he lived at Dover in
the County aforesaid and that the other Person was a
Farmer
and said he lived near Farnham
in the

saith that he has taken every possible Steps which
the shortness of the time allowed him to find out
the names of the said two Persons without Yet being
able to do so or either of themAnd this deponent
