This Informant James Jackson< no role >
upon his Oath
Saith That about half past One. o Clock this Morning
(being locked out of his Lodgings in Leigh Street
Red
Lyon Square
) he happened to meet with one Charlotte
Walker< no role >
in Holborn
. and he was induced to go with her
to Sleep at the Bulb and Gate Inn
in Holborn
That
they went to Bed together and the Waiter Locked them
in the Room at his this Informants Request That about
the hour of 4 oClock this Morning the said Charlotte Walker< no role >
Awoke him and asked him for the Complement of
half a Guinea which he promised her That he suspected
by her wishing to lease him so early she had Robbed him
and upon Searching him Pockets he Missed about Eight
or Ten Guineas That no person was in the Room to his
knowledge but the Waiter and the said Charlotte Walker< no role >
and therefore he sent for the Watchman and had her secured
And this Informant William Lidiard< no role >
upon
his oath Saith That he is Waiter
at the Bull and Gate
aforesaid
That the above named James Jackson< no role >
and Charlotte Walker< no role > This name instance is in set 1436.
came there about the hour of 2. oClock and this Informant
put them into a Bed room and locked them in ley the desire
of the said James Jackson< no role >
and kept the Key in his possession
and that about the hour of 4. oClock the Morning Mrs. Jackson
Rang the Bell and tis Informant went up and unlocked
the door When the said James Jackson< no role >
said he had
