Mr. Church Warden Scullard Acquainted the Gentlemen
present that the End of this Meeting was to choose Ward
Officers for the Year ensuing Vizt. Constables
Scavengers
and Inquestmen.
a complaint made that ye.
Fine for Ward offices was
too heavy.
And a Complaint being made That the Fine for Ward Offices
was too heavy It was moved by Mr. Scullard That an Order
made at a Precinct Meeting the 15th Decr: 1737 for raising the
Fine for Ward Offices from £12: to £16: be now read and the
Same was read accordingly.
Then the Gentlemen present proceeded to take the Same into
Consideration and after Sometime Spent thereon Mr. Church-
-Warden Scullard< no role >
moved that the said Order made the 15th Decr:
1737 So far as the Same related to the raising the Fines for Ward offices
from £12 to £16: be revoked. And the Question being putt on
the said Motion It past in the Affirmative.
Ordered That the order of
