Mary Chandler< no role > Singlewoman maketh
oath That her late Brother William Chandler< no role > deced has
informed her & Which She believes to be true That many
years ago her late Father William Chandler< no role > also deced
rented a house of the Yearly Rent of Ten Pounds
in the Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell in the
County of Middlesex & resided therein for many Years
& Carried on the Business of Chandler there & was Charged
to & paid Poors Rates & other Taxes for the Same & that he
died legally Settled in the Same Parish & was there
buried & this Deponent is the rather induced to believe
Such information to be true for that about Twenty Years
ago as this Deponent now Cash < no role > recollects & remembers
her late Sister Sarah Chandler< no role > deced was received
into the Workhouse of the Said Parish & there relieved
& was afterwards bound out Apprentice by the Parish
officers of the Said Parish as being legally Settled there
in right of her Said late Father William Chandler< no role >
That She this Deponent never was bound apprentice
nor ever lived as a hired servant for a year nor was
ever married nor ever did any Act to gain a Settlemt
in her own right.
