Alice Roop< no role > Singlewoman maketh
oath that She was duly bound to and Served two years
of her apprenticeship with John Marchant< no role > a Hatter
in the Precinct of Saint Catherine in the Said County
and then this Deponent was Assigned and turned
over to one Frances Cranaway< no role > a Washer woman
of King Henry Yard in the Parish of St Botolph
without Aldgate in the Said County With Whom
She Served the remainder of her said Apprenticeship
and by means thereof gained a legal Settlement there
That She has not Since lived as a hired servant for
the Space of a year elsewhere nor was She ever
married nor hath She done any Act to gain another
Settlement.
