taken before us Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Esqr our of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace of the Said County of Middx this 18th day of
November Anno Dom 1748

This Examinant Confesses and Saith That about [..] 8 or 9 Days
ago he and George Hutchinson< no role > otherwise Clerks who lives in White Yard
in East smith field feloniously Stole out of a Shoemakers Shop in Shoreditch
Seven or Eight pair of Shoes

And upwards offive3 weeks ago this Examinant and the Said
Hutchinson Stole out of a House in St. Katherines two pound Six Ounces of
Tea in two Cannisters

And abouta month10 or 12 days ago they Stole out of a House faceing Mandlins
rents in the Butcher Rows it Short Clock, and a Checkered Womans
Apron, And on the Same Day the Said Hutchinson lifted up the latch
of an Outward Door and went into a Shop near Will Stair in the folly
in Southwark and Stole a Searlet Clock

And about [..] Weeks10 or 12 days ago the Said Hutchinson and I stole
out of a Distiller [..] Shop near the Hermitage a mans Hatt

About185 or 6 days ago the Said Hutchinson put his hand over
the hatch of a Porkshop near Bell Dock in Wepping and Stole a Line of
pork

Abouta month3 weeks ago We Stole out of a Shop War the Hermitage
bridge two Hankerchiefs

Aboutfive3 weeks ago the Said Hutchinson Stole out of a
Butcher Shop war the Sign of the great Cask a Butcher Tray and a
Legg of Lamb

Aboutthree2 weeks ago we Stole out of a Distillers Shop
War the longeCollar & mans hatt And about208 or 9 days ago We Stole
out of a Shop near Plow alley Five Flannen Westcoats One of
which was Spoted with black

And this Examinant Further Confesses and Saiths
that one Samuel Linton< no role > who lives with his mother in Good mans
yard who uses Raggz Fair this Examinants and the Said Samuel Linton< no role >

ona [..] the [..] instantthe night before the last to feloniously Stole out of a Shop near faxes
Lance in Shedwell Seven Hankerchiefs and due Cap and sold the Same to one Stewart [..] Ross< no role > merry Law was the Hay [..] for [..] And the Same day Stole
out of the Same house three Hankerchiefs and Five pair of Stockins
and Sold are the Said last mentioned Goods to one John Thillings< no role > worth of Mouse alley
for Six Shillings and Six Peace
