Examination TextAnn Baythorn aged 29 Years upon her Oath saith that she is the Wife of James Baythorn (now ill at No18 St Matins Lane) to whom she was Married at the Parish Church of Christ's Church Newgate Street , London the 19th Day of ffebruary 1785 , that her said Husband was bound Apprentice by and Indenture bearing date the 4th Day of July 1773 for the Term of Seven Years to his ffather Mr Edward Baythorn No 372 in that part of the Strand which is in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields within their The liberty of Westminster Tin Man and there served his said Father upon the said Term of Years out and since the expiration of which he hath not Kept House rented Ten Pounds by the Year paid any Taxes nor done any Act whereby to acquire a subsequent Settlement , that she hath To Children by her said Husband to wit Elizabeth or April 14th 1786 and James born July 11th 1788 now with her. Sworn this 14th Day of October 1790 before me Wm Hyde Ann Baythorn
