Examination Text | Thomas Bence aged 66 Years removed from St Marylebone upon his Oath saith that while he was Single & Unmarried he lived as a Yearly hired Servant with Mr Isaac Webb in little Russel Street in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields within the liberty of Westminster for the space of Three Years under one hiring at the Yearly Wages of Ten Guineas diet & lodging quitted the same in the Year 1754 since which he hath not Kept House rented Ten Pounds by the Year paid Taxes been a yearly hired Servant in any one place for Twelve Months together not done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement , that he was married to its present Wife Mary at St Martins Church the first day of December.
