Examination TextCity * Liberty of Westminster} to wit The Examination of hannah Broadhead Singlewoman taken upon Oath this Sixth Day of January One thousand Seven hundred and thirty five Who upon her Oath saith she is about twenty years old that she never was marryed that on Monday the twenty second Day of December last past she was delivered of a Male Bastard Child christened Thomas born in the Workhouse of and in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields in the County of Middlesex and which dyed on the twenty eighth Day of the same Month and was from the Birth thereof to the Time of the Death of the said Child a Charge and Burthen to the said Parish and further saith thatone Thomas Ruby a Drawer at the Surgeon's Arms in Russell Street in the Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden had several times in or about the month od December which was in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty four and several Times afterwards the Carnal Knowledge of her Body on the Ground ffloor of the House of Mr ffoster in Drury Lane where they were servants sometime together at which or one of which times he begot on her Body the said Male Bastard Child and no man else Sworn the Day and Year abovewritten Before Val Hilder Jas Fraser The mark of hannah Broadhead
