Examination TextAnn Marks aged Sixty three Years lodging at a house near Mr Chitter's in Drury Lane in this Parish Saith she is the widow of William Marks a Taylor who dyed in Child's Court in EagleCourt sixteen years ago to whom she was marryed at St Andrews in Scotland thirty four years ago Saith they came thence soon after their Marriage and took House in Child's Court in Eagle Court aforesaid in the Parish of St Martin in the ffields and paid ten Pounds by the year rent and no Parish Taxes kept the same six years and lodged afterwards in the same house till her said husbands Death and that he never kept house or rented ten Pounds by the Year or paid any parish Taxes afterwards hath one Son named William aged thirty years who is marryed and was bound Apprentice to and served his Time with his ffather in Childs Court aforesaid and that he never kept house or was a yearly hired Servant after his apprenticeship and that she never kept house or rented ten pounds by the year since her said husband's Death or hath been a yearly hired Servant since her said Son'sMarriage Sworn the 6th Day of January 1735 Before Jas:Fraser The mark of Ann Marks
