Examination TextCatherine Hewit aged thirty seven years (in the workhouse) Saith she never was marryed that she was bound an apprantice for seven years to one Barker a Grocer in John Street by Golden Square in the Parish of Saint James Westmr and Jane his Wife Goodhousewife whom she there served the whole Term which expired about twenty years ago since which she was a yearly hired Servant to one Mrs Lewis who then kept the Phoenix Tavern near Mr Richards in St Martin's Lane had five pounds by the year Wages Diet and Lodging continued there two years and from thence was directly hired to one Mr Thredwell in Cranborn Alley whom she served only three months and never continued a year at a Time in any one service after leaving the said Mrs Lewis never was marryed kept house or rented ten Pounds by the year Sworn
