Vestry met pursuant to Notice given in the
Church on Sunday last for the Purpose of taking
into Consideration the following Question Vizt.
shall Application be made to Parliament for
establing a Two Penny Rate throughout this
whole Parish according to the Poors Rate in lien
both of Easter Offerings and Tithes, the Expences of
the Act to be Reimbursed to the Parish out of the
Rectors Rate by equal Portions in the course of
the two first years after it shall have Passed and
the Rector to be Obliged by the said Act to an
Annual Residence within the Precincts of the
Parish on Pain of forfeiting half the Rate for
that year such forfeiture to be Applyed by the
Overseers of the Poor towards the Maintenance
of the PoorThis Obligation
to Residence to Commence from the time when
the Expence of the Act shall have been Reimbursed
by the Rector to the Parish
