& gave an Exchequer Order dated 1703 for £20 P Ann to Wm.
Bembury of the Inner Temple

of the Parish of St. Dunstans
In Trust to give from time to time during the residue
of the Town of the Exchequer Order one Moiety thereof to 2 poor
decayed Hous Keepers either Men or Women of St. Clemt. Danes
&
the other to Dr. Dunstans
Child the Trustee died Insolvent was buried 9 May 1741
Bembury the other Trustee Reces the Anny under
the order & spent it-he died
he left Serjn. Wilson who Mand. his Daughter Executer Wilson
receives it in like manner and kept it-he Dies & a Mr. Lewis
of No 44 Charlotte Dr. Portland Chapel takes admon to him with
his Will annexed, she has Reced it, but wanting to sell it the
above Facts came out wherefore this Vestry was Called to
Consider this as well as the mres above mentd.
After the above Facts stated, It was moved that the
Churchwardens Cooperate with Dr. Dunstans Parish in whatever
legal or other steps Shall be Necessary to Recover thesd. Exchequer
Order, And that the Vestry Clerk so immediately attend
to the same & do whatever shall be Requisite therein
And that this Parish Join in the Expence
The Motion was made carried unanimously in
the affirmative
