St. Clement Danes 30th. July 1782

At a Meeting of the Churchwardens Overseers of the Poor
& Assistants pursuant to Notice.

Present

Mr. Harrison Treasurer

At this Meeting the Board Came to a Resolution to
send Circular Letters to the several Coalmerchant (being
Wharfingers)beingresident in this Parish who choose to
serve the Workhouse with 60 Chaldron of Coals 40 of which
to be the best Windsor Pontop or Tanfield Moore Coals
Pool Measure clear of all Expences subject to the Inspection
of the Overseers or who they shod. Appoint to be delivered
forthwith; And the other £20 to be good round Coals to be
delivered out in Bushells for the Poor on St. Thomas's
day next proposals to be sealed up and sent to the
Workhouse in Carry Street specifying at what P Chaldron
on or before Tuesday the 13th. Instant at 5 o Clock in the
afternoon Such persons proposal who may be approved
of will be immediately waited on by One or more of the
Overseers.
