pursuant to an Act of Parliament in the Vestry Room of Saint
Clement Danes the 17th. March 1775 .

This Committee examined Mr. John George< no role > their Collector on Oath related
to and settled his Account of the Rate for Repairing Cleansing and Lighting
One Year from Lady Day 1773 to Lady Day 1774 upon which there App [..]
to be due from the Collector to Ballance the Account £33..18s..3d

Also on Oath to his Account of the Rates for New Paving for the sa [..]
time upon which there Appears to be due to the Collector to Ballance the
Account £27..1s..1d

The Committee signed a Certificate for Poundage due to the said John
George on £1370..13s..6d. Monies Collected and Accounted for to this Committee
on the Rates for Repairing Cleansing & Lighting amounting to £17..3s..0d. at
3d. per Pound-Also another Certificate for Poundage due to him on £507
Collected and Accounted for to this Committee on the Rates for New Paving amount
to £6..6s..9d. at 3d. per Pound

The said John George< no role > having represented to this Committee the Extra ord.
trouble by him taken in Collecting the Arrears of former and the above [..]
and in Summoning defaulters before Magistrates Etc. Resolved t [..]
he be paid Five Guineas for the same for which purpose this Committee
signed a Certificate to the Commissioners for Paving Westminster Etc
