Mr. Nixon the Inspector being Sworn Returns that Change Court wants
a little Repair Hollis Street a little Repair in the Carriage way and that
there are six loose Stones in Grange Court Ordered that the said
several Repairs be done

It being Reported by the Inspector that there are two Lamps
in Angel Court in the Strand , one of which this Committee think
improper, And the said Inspector further Reporting that a Lamp is
necessary in Wych Alley Resolved that the Commissioners for Paving
Westminster Etc be requested to give this Committee an Order to remove
one of the said Lamps from Angel Court to Wych Alley-And this
Committee having an Order from the said Commissioners to light
450 Lamps in this Parish and 449 being now lighted and several
new Buildings having been Erected since such Order for lighting
which have not yet been Rated Ordered that the said Commissioners
be requested to give this Committee an Order to light Six
Additional Lamps

Westminster Bridge Office May 9th. 1775

Minutes of the Committee for the Parish of Saint Clement Danes dated the 5th. Instant
and delivered in this day were read Setting forth that it being Reported by their
Inspector That there are two Lamps in Angel Court one of which that Committee
think improper and that the said Inspector had further Reported that a Lamp
was necessary in Wych Alley and Resolving that the Commrs be requested to
give that Committee an Order to remove one of the said Lamps from Angel Court
to Wych Alley-The said Minutes also setforth that they having had an
order from the Commissioners to Light 450 Lamps in that Parish and 449
being now Lighted and several New Buildings having been Erected
since such Order for Lighting which have not yet been Rated and
Ordering that the Commrs be requested to give this Committee an Order
to light six Additional Lamps

Ordered that the said Committee be at Liberty to remove one of the Lamps
out of Angel Court into Wych Alley and that they be also at Liberty to Fix up
and Light Six Additional Lamps.
