also Nags head Court and a Stone with a Ring be put to take up and clean the
Cespool the beginning of the Court-That milk yard wants to be new Paved with
Old Materials from little Stanhope Street and Cooks Court And that there be a Stone
Spur set to keep of the Wheels of Carriages from the Wall of Mr. Steven's House
Clements Lane which Report being read-Ordered that the said several Works be
done.

Mr. Burnthwaite and Mr. Roberts Reporting that Devereux Court wants to be
New Paved and that the Passage of Angel Court wants Repair Ordered that the
Entry or Passage into Angel Court be repaired and that the Repairing of the Body of the
Court be adjourned 'till Mr. Jones & Mr. Nelson have seen the several Landlords of the
Court

Ordered that the Commissioners for Paving Westminster Etc. be requested to
give this Committee an order to advertise for a Contract or Contracts for New Paving
little Stanhope Street with nine Inch Guernsey Stone books Court with Squared Stones
or Purbeck Paving Devereux Court and Nags head Court with Purbeck Paving and
Milk yard with Old Materials from Little Stanhope Street & books Court

Mr. Nixon Inspector being Sworn Returns that a little Repaires wanting
at the bottom of Carting Lane by the Steps Ordered that the same be forthwith done

Adjourned to the 6th. May next at 6 o'Clock

April 26th. 1774

The Surveyor Reported that he had pursuant to the order of the 12th
Instant viewed Strand Lane and finds that about 86. Yards thereof
belongs to Surry Street and may be repaired when the Committee for the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes repaves their part which was accordingly
ordered.
