At a Meeting of the Committee for Paving Elected and appointed
Pursuant to an Act of Parliament in the Vestry Room of St. Clement
Danes the 16th. February 1774 .

The Minutes of the last Meeting Read and Confirmed.

The Churchwardens having informed this Committee that at a Vestry held
in this Parish on Thursday the 10th. Instant the following Persons were chosen
Committeemen for this Parish for the Year ensuing for the purpose of Carrying into
Execution the said Act Vizt. Robert Butler< no role > George Naughan< no role > and William
Kitchiner

Mr. Woodley Mr. Roberts Mr. Price and Mr. Sumner now attending it was
resolved that Mr. Seager take the Chair.

The Clerk having Prepared a Petition to the House of Commons praying
leave to be heard against the Bill brought into the House for declaring the
Society of Lincolns Inn and the Lanes and Tenements within the limitts and
bounds thereof in the County of Middlesex not to be liable to Parochial Duties
or Burdens. Which being read Ordered that the same be signed by a Proper
number of this Committee and that the Clerk wait on Sir Charles Whitworth< no role > and
request the favour of his presenting the same to the House of Commons .

Adjourned to Friday next at Six o'Clock
