Saint Clement Danes

Middlesex

to wit Amey Gerom< no role > aged about 27 years upon
her Oath saith that she never was married that she
lived as a hired yearly Servant with a Mr. Twaddell
in White Horse Yard in the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes in the County of Middlesex for Two years or
thereabouts at the yearly wages of £5 that she
hath quitted said Service about Two years and upwards
since which time she hath done no Act to gain a
Subsequent Settlement And further this Examinant
upon her Oath saith that on the 4th. day of May last she
was delivered of a Female Bastard Child in Store
Street Hospital which hath since been Christened by
the Name of Harriott That one James Scrufus< no role > a
Waiter at Vauxhall is the father thereof he having
had Carnal knowledge of this Examinants Body and
begotten the same thereon and that the said James
Scrufus
< no role > is the only real and true father thereof
