upon her Oath saith that she never was married
that she lived as a hired yearly Servant with one
Mr. Clay in Token house Yard in the City of
London for Three years at the yearly Wages of
Nine Guineas that she hath quitted said Service
about Three years since which time she has
done no Act to gain a subsequent Settlemt.
And further this Examinant upon her Oath
saith that on the 23rd. day of September now last
past she was delivered of a Male Bastard
Child at the House of a Mrs. Stewart in
Newcastle Court in the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes which hath since been baptized by the
Name of John< no role > That one John Harvey< no role > an Attorney
at Law who lives at Wellington near Taunton in
Somersetshire is the father thereof he having had
Carnal knowledge of this Examts. Body and
begotten the same thereon and that the said John
Harvey< no role > is the only real & true father thereof
