to wit Jane Dole< no role > aged about 21 years
upon her Oath saith that she never was
married that she lived as a hired yearly servant
with one Mr. Cook in Fountain Court in the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the County
of Middlesex for [..] Sixteen Months at the
yearly wages of Five Guineas that she hath
quitted said service about Five years since which
time she hath not lived as a hired yearly
servant for Twelve Months or done any Act
Matter or thing whereby she might have
gained a subsequent settlement And further this
Deponent upon her Voluntary Oath saith that
she is pregnant with Child or Children which is
or are likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards
and to become Chargeable to the said parish That
one Thomas Powell< no role > a Plaisterer who lives at the
house of one Mr. Edwards near the Hospital at
Chelsea is the father thereof he having had
carnal knowledge of this Examinants Body and
begotten the same thereon and that the said
Thomas Powell< no role > and no other Person did beget the
said Child or Children of which she is so pregnant
and that he is the only real and true father
thereof
