(to wit) Ann Britain< no role > singlewoman aged
thirty years or thereabouts Upon Oath saith
that she never was Married, that she lived
as an hired yearly Servant with Mr Price in
Blackmoon Street in the parish of Saint
Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westminster
in the County of Middlesex for about two years,
at the annual Wages of Seven Guineas, that
she quitted that service about two years ago and
hath not done any Act Matter or thing whatsoever
[..] since, whereby to obtain any subsequent legal
Settlement to the best of this Deponent's knowledge or belief
And this Examinant Upon her voluntary Oath
further saith that She is now pregnant with a
Child or Children which is or are likely to be
born a Bastard or Bastards and to become
chargeable to the said parish of Saint Clement
Danes, that Thomas Wankling< no role > otherwise Wantling< no role > who
now does or lately did Work as Journeyman with
Mr Jackson the Smith in Great Shire Lane
in the [..] liberty and County aforesaid with
only real and true father of the Child or Children
wherewith she is pregnant as aforesaid he having
first had carnal knowledge of this Deponent's
Body sometime in or about the Month of March
last and at several times since at some or
one of which times he did beget the said Child
a Children thereon And that he and no one else is
