}(to wit) Sarah Woodhill< no role > Singlewoman aged
tweny one years or thereabouts Upon Oath saith
that she never was Married that she lived as
an hired yearly Servant with Mr Jackson
Bookbinder in Herberts passage Fountain Court
Strand in the parish of Saint Clement Danes
in the [..] County of Middlesex for about a year
and upwards at the Annual Wages of £6 or
thereabouts-that she quitted that Service about
four years ago-and hath never since lived as an
hired yearly Servant for a twelve month together
kept any House or Apartment of £10 a year paid
parish Taxes or done any other Act Matter
or thing whatsoever whereby she might obtain any
subsequent legal settlement to the best of this
Examinants knowledge information or belief
And this Examinant [..] Upon her Voluntary Oath
[..] further saith that she is now pregnant
with a Child or Children which is or are likely to be
born a Bastard or Bastards and to become
chargeable to the said parish of St Clement Danes
when born and saith that William Wood< no role > house
a private Soldier in his Majesty's Second Regiment
of Foot Guards in the First Battalion and Duke
Company [..] did beget the said Child
or Children on the Body of her this Deponents he
having first had carnal knowledge of this [..]
