shall not be paid then unless the Child shall be
living one the Note is to be given up

The Child was living at this time being the end of the year
but The Overseers at the request of the year 1794 gave
up the Note to Hudson in consideration of his being a
parishioner and having not with been lately much
distressed on acct of his Wife's illness
