(to wit) Elizabeth Herbert< no role > singlewoman aged
twenty four year or thereabouts Upon Oath
saith that she never was married that She
lived as an hired yearly Servant with Mr
Rimbery at the three Tuns in Windsor in the
parish of Windsor in the County of Berk
for three years that she quitted that Service abt
[..] years ago and hath not obtained any
subsequent legal settlement to the best of her
knowledge or belief and this Deponent on her
Oath further saith that on the [..]
21 day of September instant [..] at the
Workhouse of and belonging to the said parish
and situate within the same she was delivered
of a Female Bastard Child which is become
chargeable to the said parish of St Clement Dane
and saith that one Edward Allen< no role > a Groom in
the Service of a Gentleman a Grosvenor Square
[..] and who frequents the Coach and House Public House
in Dover Street in the in the said County of
Middlesex and true father of the said Child of
which she was delivered as aforesaid he having
Carnal knowledge of this Deponents Body sometime
in or about December last and at several se
several times since at some or one of which
times he did beget the same thereon and th [..]
[..] he no others one else is the only real & true
Father thereof
