(to wit) Sarah Yates< no role > agedaboutFifty nine
years and upwards Upon Oath saith that she was
Married to George Yates< no role > at the parish
Church of St John Westminster about 41 years ago
(by Banns) that her said Husband died about 14
years ago that she this Examinant hath been informed
and verily believes that her said Husband was a native
of Ireland and saith that he never obtained any legal settlement
in this Kingdom to the best of her knowledge information
or belief that she this Examinant hath not since
his death been Married or obtained any legal
settlement in her own Right that previous to her
said Marriage with the said George
and while she was single and unmarried she lived
as an hired Yearly Servant with Mrs Rixon in
Howard Street in the parish of St Clement Danes
for about two years and an half at theAnnual
Wages of £4 for the first year and £5 Yearly afterwds.
that she quitted that place about a Quarter of a Year
before herMarrMarriage with the said George
and she is now distressed and unable to maintain
herself without assistance
