(to wit) Mary Hare< no role > Wife of John Hare< no role > and
aged 42 years or thereabouts Upon Oath
saith that on or about the first day of
March in the Year of our Lord 1782 she this Examint
being then a Widow and having no Husband living
was Married to John Hare< no role > who as she was informed
and believes (having no Reason to think to the contrary)
was at that time a single man and had no Wife
And this Deponent further saith upon her Oath that
her said Husband John Hare< no role > was sworn and enrolled to
serve as a Substitute in the Westminster Regiment of
Middlesex Militia for Henry Peter< no role > of the parish of
Saint George in the Liberty of Westminster the 26th
day of March 1791 as she has been informed and believes
And that he is now serving as such Substitute in the
said Regiment which wascalledembodied called out
into actual [..] Service onor aboutthe 28th day of January
last and hath been ordered to March And Lastly that
she this Examinant hath ever since the said 28th day of
January resided and still dwells at the House of Messrs.
Colvin & Lowndes Dealers in Liquor [..] near Temple
Bar in the Strand in the said parish of St Clement
Danes in the County of Middlesex And that She hath
no Children by her said Husband John Hare< no role >
And that she has ever since been &
still distressed and unable to
maintain herself without
assistance
