(to wit) Mary Holmes< no role > Widow aged 32 years
and upwards Upon Oath saith that She was
Married to her late Husband John Holmes< no role > at the
parish Church of St.. Martin in the Fields in the
Liberty of Westminster (by Licence) on or about the
21st.. day ofMayMarch 1785 or thereabouts that she hath
three Children by her said Husband born in lawful
Wedlock Namely John< no role > bornaged8 yearsseven years on or
about the 21st.. day of May last Mary Jane< no role > aged
5 years on or about the 19th.. day of October last and
James< no role > aged 3 years on oraboutabout the 10th.. day
of December last all of whomofare now living and
neither of them settled in histoor her own right
that her said Husband Since their said Marriage
Rented & resided in an House in Upper Thames Street
in the parish of St Andrew Wardrobe London for
a year &sixfive Months & upwards at the Yearly Rent of
£14 that he quitted it abt. Christmas 1790 and never
after obtained Any subsequent legal Settlement
during his life to the best of this Examinants knowledge
information or belief And this Deponent saith that
her said Husband diedabt.on or about the twelfth
day of January instant andthisleft her this
