(to wit) Elizabeth Stafford< no role > Widow aged 55 years
and upwards upon her Oath saith that she
was Married to her late Husband George Stafford< no role > at
the parish Church of Stonehouse near Plymouth in
the County of Devon on or about the 11th. day ofJuneApril in or
about the year of our Lord 1753. (by Banns) that since their said
Marriage her said Husband Rented & resided in an
Apartment unfurnished consisting of two Rooms on the
first Floor at the Annual Rent of £10 for [..] two years
and upwards at Mr Allen's in Vere Street St Clement Danes [..] that they quitted the same about 10
years ago and her Husband died on or about the 26th day
of July 1787. never having afterwards Rented any House
or Apartment of £10 a year [..] or done any other Act whereby
to obtain any subsequent legal Settlement And that She
this Examinant hath never since been Married orother
otherwise obtained or become intitled unto any subsequent
legal Settlement in her own Right that she hath three
Children now living who provide for themselves the two
eldest are Daughters and Married the Youngest [..] Named Nathaniel< no role > is now
in Wych Street and hath never acquired any legal
Settlement in his own Right is about 25 years of Age
