(to wit) Elizabeth May< no role > Widow aged
sixty years & upwards Upon Oath saith
that she was Married to her late Husband
William May< no role > at the parish Church of St
Sepulchre without Newgate London about
thirty six years ago (by Banns) that since
their said Marriage her said Husband Rented
and Resided in an House in [..] Wych Street
in the parish of Saint Clement Danes in the
Liberty of Westminster and County of Middlesex
for about three years at the Annual Rent of
£20 that they quitted that House about 29 or 30 years ago
and never after Rented any House or Apartmt.
of £10 a year or otherwise obtained any
subsequent legal Settlement saith that her
Husband died about eight years ago & since this
Examinant hath not been Married nor acquired any legal
Settlement in [..] her own Right that she hath two
Children by her said Husband both provided for
and that in at present distressed & unable to
maintain herself without assistance
