(to wit ) John Jones< no role > singleman aged 27
years and upwards Upon Oath saith that
he never was Married that he was bound an
Apprentice for seven year (by Indenture) to Mr. Howgate
in Portland Street in the parish of St Mary le bone
in the County of Middlesex Sadler and served him
under such Indentures for [..] about a year and
an half when his said Master Died [..] he this
Deponent went abroad and Returned about a
Fortnight ago to this Kingdom [..] consequently hath
not obtained any subsequent legal Settlement to
the best of his knowledge information or belief
That he is Distressed and hath become Chargeable
to thesaid Parish of St Clement Danes
