Says that before his Intermarriage with his late Wife and
whilst he was a Singleman he lived as a Yearly hired Servant
with one Colonel Griffin (now Sir

) in Brook
Street in the Parish of Saint George Hanover Square
in the
County of Middlesex
upwards of One Year & an half at the
Yearly Wages of Eight Pounds and after quitting the sd. Colonel
Griffins Service he went to live as a Yearly Hired Servant
with the Honble

Esqr. at Merton College
in
Oxford and lived with him upwards of One Year at the Yearly
Wages of Eight Pounds and after quitting the sd. last mentioned
Service he went to live as a Yearly hired Servant with the Honoble
Danes Barrington< no role >
Esqr. at No.5 in the Kings Bench Walks in the Inner
Temple
London and lived with him upwards of Eight Years
at the Yearly Wages of Eight Pounds and Two Pounds a Year
allowed for Lodgings and Seven Shillings Per Week for
Board Wages the said Mr. Barrington having no Conveniency
in Chambers Says that
that after living Eight Years with the
said Mr. Barrington
he Intermarried to his late Wife

and
had one Child by her who both soon after dying he still
continued to live with the said Mr. Barrington and lived
with him about Two Years after his said Wife and Childs
Death and lodged for most part of the time he lived with ye sd.
Mr. Barrington (when in Town) at the House of one Mr. Green
in Little Essex Street
in the Parish of St. Clement Danes
& the sd. Mr. Green removing into Devereux Court he Continued
to lodge at his House there till he left the said Mr. Barrington
Service Occasioned by illness which is five Years ago And
further Says that since he quitted the sd. last mentioned Service
he never Rented House paid Taxes or lived a hired Yearly
Servant for one Year.
