to wit Mary Macklin< no role > This name instance is in set 965. This set is in the group(s): MothersCD . Aged about Twenty Nine Years on her
Oath Says she is the Widow of James Macklin< no role > with whom
she Intermarried at the Parish Church of Walthamstow in the
County of Essex about Nine Years ago and who has been dead
about Eight Years Says that being a Widow and without
Child or Children she lived a hired Yearly Servant with
and Mr. Hart a Dancing Master in Chancery Lane in
the Liberty of the Rolls in the County of Middlesex for
one Year and Three Quaters at the Yearly Wages of Seven
Pounds hath quitted her said Service about five Years ago
and hath not since she quitted the same ever Rented
Ten Pounds a Year paid Taxes or lived a hired Yearly
Servant for one Year And further says that on the first
day of Janry. 1772 she was delivered of a Female Bastard
Child in Chair Court Ship Yard in the Parish of St. Clement Danes
in the Liberty of Westminster which hath since been Baptized
by the name of Ann Wenman< no role > says that one Wm. Wenman< no role > Paper
Buildings Inner Temple London Esqr. is the true Father thereof
he having had Carnal Knowledge of her Body in Sometime in the
Month of March 1771 but the Particular day she does not now remember
& at sevl. different times afterwds. at one of which times he got her wth. Child
of the Female Child of which she was delivered as afsd. And that the
sd. Wm. Wenman< no role > and no other person did beget the same and that he is
the real and true Father thereof.
