Elizth. Blackwell< no role > Aged about Twenty Years
on her Oath Says she never was married nor ever
Rented House paid Taxes or was an Apprentice Says
she lived a hired Yearly Servant with one Mrs. Newby
in Warwick Court in the Parish of Christ Church in the
City of London for Three Years and upwards at the
Yearly Wages of Three Pounds for the first Two Years
and Threefour pounds for the last Year And further
Says that on the Twenty Seventh day of December
last she was delivered of a Female Bastard Child in
the House of Mr. Williams who lately kept a Chanders
Shop in Clements Lane in the Parish of Saint
Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westmr. which
hath since been baptized by the Name of Elizabeth< no role >
Says that one Joshua Ludgate< no role > a Leather Pairer
is the Father of the sd. Female Bastard Child he
having had Carnal Knowledge of her Body the latter
End of February 1769 and at sevl. Different times
afterwards at one of which times he got her with
Child of the Female Bastard Child of which she was
delivered as afsd. And that the sd. Joshua Ludgate< no role > and
no other person is the true and real Father thereof
